Wheat Ridge, CO : Motorcyclist killed in crash in Wheat Ridge on Wednesday evening, October 26, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal crash in Wheat Ridge on Wednesday evening.

The deadly crash happened at Wadsworth and 48th Avenue at approximately 8 p.m., according to an official with the Wheat Ridge Police Department.

There were no injuries to the driver of the car who stayed on the scene, the official posted on Facebook.

Wadsworth was closed in all directions from I-70 to 44th Avenue as officers investigated the crash. There was no estimated time of when the roads would reopen.
