Winnemucca, NV : Two people died and four others injured after a head-on collision on U.S. 95 north of Winnemucca on Monday, Oct 19, 2015

Two people were killed and four others were injured after a head-on collision on U.S. 95 north of Winnemucca on Monday, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.

Trooper Duncan Dauber confirmed with News 4 that the collision was reported at about 1:05 p.m. Monday about 28 miles north of Winnemucca.

NHP's incident site listed the crash on northbound 95 in Orovada.

The two people killed in the crash were not identified.

There was no word on a possible cause or current traffic conditions.

One injured person was taken to Renown via Care Flight. The conditions of the four injured were not immediately known.
