Bountiful, UT : Woman critical after auto/pedestrian accident in Bountiful on Monday morning, July 25, 2016

A woman was flown to the University Hospital Monday morning in very critical condition after she was hit while crossing 200 West in Bountiful.

“About 10:25 a.m. a 54-year-old female was crossing from west to east on 200 West and was hit by a truck that was turning from 100 South onto 200 West,” said Bountiful Police Lt. Dave Edwards. “The driver has been very cooperative and said he didn’t see her until he felt the impact. He rendered aid and contacted police for help.”

The victim’s name has not been released pending notification of family. Edwards said there were no immediate signs of driver impairment but the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
