WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL : 3-Vehicle Crash Along Highway 148 in Southern Illinois on Tuesday, 19th March 2024

Multiple crews responded to the scene for a three-vehicle crash between Zeigler and Herrin Tuesday early evening.

The crash occurred on State Highway 148 near the Williamson and Franklin County line at 4:53 p.m.

According to Illinois State Police, this incident was being described as a traffic crash with damage to property.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said there were minor injures reported and those people were taken to the hospital.

ISP and fire officials from Herrin and Williamson County have also reported to the scene.
