Topeka,KS : Man injured in crash Tuesday in south Topeka after car slams into building on September, Tuesday 5th 2017

A man suffered what police described as potentially life-threatening injuries early Tuesday in a one-car crash in south Topeka.

The crash was reported at 4:07 a.m. in the 3300 block of S. Kansas Avenue.

Police Lt. Andrew Beightel said at the scene that a four-door Buick was traveling north on S. Kansas Avenue when the driver lost control.

Beightel said the car appeared to have slid sideways across the southbound lane and struck a curb before possibly going airborne.
