Kennett, MO : Two traffic accidents in the area left two people with minor injuries on Monday, June 5, 2017

Two traffic accidents Sunday in the area left two people with minor injuries. The first accident happened at 9:12 a.m. on MO 164 at US 412, three miles east of Cardwell. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Patricia Carpenter, 58, of Leachville, was hurt when her car was rear ended by a vehicle driven by 68 year old Kenneth Clayton, also of Leachville. Carpenter was taken to Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.

A Kennett teenager was hurt when her car ran off US 412 just west of Hayti and overturned. Troopers report 19 year old Myia Suttle was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. That accident happened at 4:27 p.m.
