Memphis, TN : MPD officer involved in crash near Interstate 240 and Sam Cooper Boulevard on Wednesday night, July 13, 2016

A Memphis police officer was involved in a crash late Wednesday night.

The officer and another car collided near Interstate 240 and Sam Cooper Boulevard.

No one was taken to the hospital from the scene, but the officer's car sustained a lot of damage.

The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
