DERRY, NH : Three people were hurt when a pick-up truck crash on Wednesday, July 5, 2017

Three people were hurt when a pick-up truck crashed into tree in Derry Wednesday evening.

The accident happened just before 8 p.m. on Island Pond Road, according to the Derry Fire Department.

The three people inside the pick-up were all trapped. Firefighters used power tools to rescue them.

One person was taken by helicopter to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries. The two others were taken to Parkland Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The names of the injured people were not released.
