Cincinnati ,OH : Four People hospitalized after classic car crash on Sunday Morning ,July 26th 2015

A 69-year-old is in critical condition and three others were hospitalized after a serious crash in the Village of Addyston Sunday afternoon that involved a 1960 Chevrolet Impala.

Around 3 p.m. Sunday, Gilbert Russell, 69, of Cincinnati, was driving the 1960 Chevrolet Impala west on U.S. 50 near Dining Lane when Jerry Schnell, 78, was driving a 2014 Nissan south on Dining Lane, police said.

Schnell failed to see Russell approaching the intersection of the two roads and drove into the path of Russell's Impala, causing the cars to collide, according to police.

Russell's car was not equipped with safety belts. He was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center in critical condition.

Two passengers in Russell's Impala were also hospitalized. His wife, Sandra Russell, and a juvenile were taken to UCMC and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, respectively, with non-life threatening injuries.
