MARKLEVILLE, IN : Serious accident east of Markleville on Saturday, December, 16th 2017

Authorities were investigating a serious accident in the 3500 block of East Indiana 38 Saturday evening.

It involved a car and a semi-truck. Scanner traffic indicated at least one victim was trapped and appeared to be unconscious.

The accident occurred shortly after 7 p.m. east of Markleville. The road was closed at Main and State streets.
