Seattle, WA : Woman critically injured as car crashes into cement pipes on Sunday afternoon, December 28, 2014

A woman in her 30s was critically injured when she crashed into a pile of cement pipes Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. in the 8200 block of 5th Ave. S., Seattle Fire officials said. It took firefighters around 20 minutes to free the woman from the car. She was then taken to Harbroview Medical Center in Seattle with life-threatening injuries.

There's no word yet what caused the crash.
