BELLEVUE, WA : Sabula man dies in crash in Jackson Count on Tuesday, 9th October 2018

Sabula man died in a car crash in Jackson County.

Alex Behr, 20, of Sabula, died in a crash afternoon near Bellevue. He was a passenger in a vehicle that struck a tree.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a vehicle driven by Andy Ahrens, 20, of Maquoketa, ran off the roadway on Iowa 52, 4 miles south of Bellevue, at 12:23 p.m. Sunday, for unknown reasons.

The vehicle struck a tree. Ahrens was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Behr was pronounced dead on the scene.
