Linton, IN : Two-vehicle accident results in air lift on Friday, December, 1st 2017

A two-vehicle accident Friday evening resulted in multiple injuries and an air evacuation.

According to an accident report filed by Greene County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Davis Aerne, the accident occurred on State Road 157 and County Road 850 N in Worthington.

Aerne wrote Brooke Hudson, 35, was traveling southbound on SR 157 in a Dodge Caravan while Matthew Beatty, 18, was traveling northbound.

As both vehicles entered the curve at the intersection, Hudson reportedly traveled left of center, striking Beatty’s vehicle. Both vehicles had juvenile passengers.

Beatty was transported by Air Evac to Regional Hospital for lacerations to the head and legs, as well as abdominal pain. Beatty’s passenger was transported to Regional Hospital by ambulance for pain in the neck and lower right leg. Hudson’s passenger was transported to Regional Hospital for an injury to the right arm.

Assisting units included the Worthington Police Department, Greene County Ambulance Services, Worthington Fire Department and Air Evac.
