A 48-year-old rural Chippewa Falls man died in a single-vehicle rollover crash Wednesday in the town of Wheaton, west of Chippewa Falls.
Chippewa County Sheriff Jim Kowalczyk said law enforcement responded to a call at 5:15 p.m. of the rollover on eastbound Highway 29, west of Highway T.
The male driver was the lone occupant. He was unresponsive, and no vital signs were present. The coroner was called to the scene. His identity wasn’t released Wednesday.
The sheriff’s office is handling the investigation.
