OLIVE TWP, MI : One hurt in Tuesday evening crash on Polk Street on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016

A West Olive woman was injured in a two-car crash Tuesday evening on Polk Street near 116th Avenue.Police said the crash occurred at about 6:20 p.m.

Stephanie Stehouwer, 45, was driving east on Polk Street, started to turn into a driveway and struck a car that was attempting to pass her, said Sgt. Matt Wildfong of the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department. Wildfong said both cars went into the ditch after the collision.

The driver of the passing car, 28-year-old Nicholas VanderZwaag of Holland, was not injured.
