Eau Claire, WI : Deer causes two crashes Monday in Pierce County on Monday, 17th October 2016

A deer caused two separate vehicle crashes Monday morning that sent drivers to a River Falls hospital, according to the Pierce County sheriff’s office.
A 2010 Volvo driven by Olivia Milano, 17, of Ellsworth struck the deer at about 6 a.m. as the animal crossed State Road 65 near 770th Avenue in rural River Falls. Milano suffered undetermined injuries and was transported by ambulance to River Falls Area Hospital, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Shortly after that a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Randall Walz, 65, of Ellsworth hit the same deer on the road and lost control of his vehicle.
The SUV went into the ditch and overturned. Walz also was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
