Iron Belt,WI : One dead, one hospitalized following car crash in Iron County on January, Sunday 28th 2018

One woman is dead and a man in the hospital following an early morning crash in Iron County.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, just before 3 a.m. Sunday, a vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 51 near County Highway CC, when it crossed over the center lines and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.

The driver of the southbound car, a 45-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 32-year-old male driver of the oncoming car was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash.
