A woman has been charged with driving under the influence and other crimes after a crash claimed the life of a motorcyclist Friday night in Simpsonville.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office charged Marka Fuller, 43, of Farming Creek Drive in Simpsonville with driving under the influence involving a death, distribution of a controlled substance, and driving too fast for conditions.
Investigators said Fuller crashed her car into a motorcycle along South East Main Street just after 6:30 p.m. Friday.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office said 58-year-old Herman Gibson of Gray Court died at the scene.
