NEW LONDON, MO : Hannibal woman injured in parking lot crash on Sunday, 21st October 2018
A Hannibal woman was injured in a afternoon crash in the parking lot of a New London business.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze driven by Kayann L. Abbey, 20, of Hannibal, and a 2010 Ford F-250 driven by Eric L. Hancock, 22, of Vandalia, were in the parking lot of Love's Truck Stop off Mo. 19 in New London at 2:45 p.m. The patrol said the Chevrolet was attempting to back out of a parking space and struck the Ford, which was attempting to back into a parking space.
Abbey was taken by private vehicle to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries.
The patrol said both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The patrol was assisted by the New London Police Department.
