Pratt, KS : Update Holcomb woman injured in two-vehicle accident in Pratt Sunday on Sunday, March 26th 2017
A Holcomb woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Pratt. Linda Leonard, 73 of Holcomb was a passenger in a 2010 Cadillac driven by 75-year-old Ronnie Leonard, also of Holcomb, that was westbound on First Street at the intersection of Main Street when an eastbound 2015 VW Touareg, driven by Amanda Freund, 38 of Coldwater, turned north in front of the Cadillac, according to Pratt Police Cpl. Mike McAbee.
The Cadillac broadsided the VW on the passenger side. The Cadillac came to a stop facing west and the VW stopped facing north in the southbound side of North Main.
Pratt County EMS transported Linda Leonard to Pratt Regional Medical Center for treatment. Ronnie Leonard, Freund and Freund's passengers 78-year-old Peggy Brosius, 12-year-old Sarah Hardy, 11-year-old Emily Hardy and 4-year-old Aspen Freund, all of Coldwater, were not transported. Everyone was wearing seat belts at the time of the accident that was reported about 2:15 p.m.
