POLK COUNTY, MO : Bolivar teenager dies after dirt bike crash near Pleasant Hope on Monday, 29th April 2024

A teenager from Bolivar has died after a dirt bike crash near Pleasant Hope Monday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, around 6 p.m., the 15-year-old boy was riding his dirt bike on E. 540th Road two miles west of Pleasant Hope.

The crash happened when he lost control of the dirt bike on the gravel road. The dirt bike overturned, and he fell off. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
