GREENSBORO, NC : 25-year-old pedestrian killed in crash, according to Greensboro Police on Friday, 20th September 2024

One man has died following a pedestrian-involved crash late Friday night, according to officers with the Greensboro Police Department.
On Friday around 10 p.m., officers said they responded to US 220 North near the overpass on Interstate 40 East in reference to a crash involving a pedestrian.
When officers arrived, they said they found 25-year-old Caliph Menalik Byrd dead in the middle of the roadway.
Officers said the vehicle that hit Byrd left the scene.
