Aurora,MO : Teen injured in wreck near Aurora on September, Friday 8th 2017
An Aurora teenager was injured Friday in a three-vehicle wreck at 7:35 p.m. on Route K, two miles north of Aurora.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Brandon Macal, 21, of Sapulpa, Okla., was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer westbound when his vehicle failed to yield to traffic and was struck by a northbound 1991 Mazda 626, being driven by Emily Millyard, 18, of Aurora. Macal's vehicle then spun counter-clockwise and struck an eastbound 2008 Ford F150, being driven by Clifton Gryder, 59, of Aurora.
Millyard suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Macal and Gryder were not injured.
All were wearing safety devices. The two Fords received minor damage, and the Mazda sustained extensive damage.
