JACKSON COUNTY, IA : 1 killed in head-on collision north of Bellevue on Sunday, 2nd June 2024

One person is dead and another is injured after a head-on collision in Jackson County early Sunday morning, according to officials.

An Iowa State Patrol crash report says it happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 2. Investigators believe a 2019 Honda SUV was traveling along Highway 52, north of Bellevue, when the driver crossed the middle line and hit a 2001 Chevrolet passenger vehicle head-on.
