Monett, MO : Two people were injured in a wreck at the Highway 37 on February, Saturday 10th 2018

Two people were injured Saturday in a wreck at 11:53 a.m. at the Highway 37 and Highway 76 intersection, west of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Osman Abdullahi, 36, of Irving, Texas, was driving a 2007 Peterbilt tractor trailer northbound when his vehicle failed to stop at a stop light and struck a westbound 1998 Chevrolet Trailblazer, being driven by Charles Piatt, of Cassville.

Abdullahi suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. A passenger in Charles Piatt's vehicle, Anita Piatt, 57, of Cassville, suffered minor injuries and was also transported to Cox South. Charles Piatt was not injured.

All were wearing safety devices. The Peterbilt sustained minor damage, and the Chevrolet was totaled.
