Willimantic, CT: Teen suffers serious injuries after crash involving scooter on Sunday, August 2nd 2015

Willimantic police have reopened Main Street after a serious crash involving a scooter.Police said a 19-year-old male is being treated for skull and spine injuries. He was brought to Hartford Hospital and officials called his injuries "very serious."The area of Beech, Pine and Main streets was closed for a few hours while police investigated but it has since reopened.Anyone with information should contact Willimantic police.
