Vancouver, WA : Man injured in Camas motorcycle crash on Friday, 9th September 2016
Ambulance crews took a man to the hospital with serious injuries after his motorcycle rammed into the passenger side of a turning pickup Friday morning in Camas.
Camas police Sgt. Scot Boyles said the 20-year-old motorcyclist hit the side of the pickup when the pickup driver pulled in front of the rider around 7:25 a.m. at Southeast Russell Street and Southeast Sixth Avenue.
Boyles said the pickup driver Andrew McKinnon, 33, of Vancouver was making a left turn, and was cited for failing to yield properly.
The department did not make the rider’s name available, and Boyles said it didn’t have more information on the man’s injuries beyond saying they appeared to officers at the scene to be significant.
