GASTONIA, NC : 1 killed as Gaston Co. declares state of emergency on Wednesday, 8th May 2024

After Wednesday afternoon’s severe storms left tens of thousands without power, Gaston County has declared a State of Emergency.

Board of Commissioners Chairman Chad Brown signed the document as first responders were working to clear roads of downed power lines, broken trees and provide aid to residents.
