Boone County, KY : Jefferson City woman hurt in Boone County crash on Thursday, 6th September 2018

A Jefferson City woman was hurt in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Boone County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 3:06 p.m. on U.S. 63, just south of Rolling Hills Road.

Janay Day, 27, drove off the right side of the road then returned to the road. She then was struck by John Friedrich, 62, of Columbia. Day and Friedrich both drove off the left side of the road and came to rest in a ditch.

Friedrich, who was wearing a seat belt, had no reported injuries. Day, who was not wearing a seat belt, was treated for moderate injuries.
