Five people were injured in a crash near Oran Wednesday.
The Fayette County Sheriff's Office took a 911 report of the two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 3 and County Road V-68.
Deputies said a white 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Nathan I. Gebel, 39, of Lansing, had failed to yield to a 2001 Chevy pickup truck driven by Steven D. Chase, 58, of Waterloo.
Gebel and his passenger, Leonard W. Graves Jr., 66, of Decorah, were transported by ambulance to Sumner Memorial Hospital for their non-life threatening injuries.
Chase's two passengers, Jerry Lee Derifield, 40, of Waterloo, and David S. Chase, 56, of Waterloo, were taken to Mercy Hospital in Oelwein. Steven Chase was taken to UnityPoint Health-Allen Hospital in Waterloo with non-life threatening injuries.
Gebel will be cited for failure to yield to a vehicle on the right, deputies said.
