Tulsa, OK : A Tennessee man died in a crash on Monday, January, 8th 2018

A Tennessee man died in a crash Monday night when the pickup he was driving rear-ended a trailer and struck another vehicle, both of which were stopped at a traffic light in Claremore.

The collision occurred about 9:45 p.m. at J.M. Davis Boulevard and Oklahoma 66. The man was driving north on the highway at a high speed when his truck hit the other two vehicles, Claremore Police Lt. Matt Wild said.

The man’s truck struck a 16-foot trailer hauled by another pickup and went airborne, Wild said. The man’s pickup began to roll, and its roof struck the roof of a car.

Wild said the man was ejected from the pickup at some point during the crash.
