PENDLETON, SC : Coroner gives name of woman killed in head-on crash in Anderson Co on Sunday, 8th September 2024

The Anderson Co. Office of the Coroner and the South Carolina Highway Patrol said they responded to a vehicle crash this evening.
The crash happened around 5:30 p.m. on South Mechanic Street at South Broad Street in Pendleton, the coroner said.
The coroner has reported one death in the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the first vehicle involved was a 2016 Mercedes SUV and had two occupants. The second vehicle was a 2005 Ford Escape, and had only one occupant.
