Monessen, PA : Man dies in single-vehicle crash in Washington County on Tuesday, 23rd August, 2016

A man died Tuesday when his vehicle went off the road and collided with a fire hydrant and tree in Washington County.

James Luzier, 46, of Clarksville crashed about 5 p.m. on Morey Road in East Bethlehem, Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said.

Luzier was not wearing a seat belt. Paramedics transported him to Mon Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:29 p.m., Warco said.

The cause and manner of his death are pending.

State police are investigating the crash.
