CALDWELL COUNTY, KY : 17-Year-Old Taken to Hospital After Truck Crashes on Thursday, 9th May 2024

A 17-year-old was taken to the hospital after reportedly crashing a truck on Thursday.

The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a crash along Marion Road, roughly four miles north of Princeton on the morning of May 9.

The sheriff's office said a 2010 GMC pickup truck was going south on KY91 and crashed the truck.

A 17-year-old driver was allegedly speeding when he reached for an item in the truck, lost control, overturned and hit a utility pole.

The sheriff's office said the driver was wearing a seatbelt. He was then taken to Lourdes Hospital by the Caldwell County Ambulance Service.
