Independence, KY : 1 killed, 3 injured in ATV crash in Independence on Saturday night, August 9, 2014

A 35-year-old man is dead and three others were injured after the driver of an all-terrain vehicle lost control and crashed late Saturday night, authorities say. Danielle Marsh, 33, was driving an Arctic Cat Prowler ATV on a long blacktop driving leading to a home on the 12000 block of Riggs Road in Independence, Kentucky, at about 11:27 p.m., according to a news release from the Kenton County Police Department. The ATV holds two people, but three people -- Benjamin D. Marsh, 32, Donald Marsh, 64, and Joseph Robinson, 35, -- were all passengers on the ATV. Danielle Marsh lost control of the vehicle on the steep driveway. It slid sideways and rolled twice, according to the release. Robinson, of Walton, was pronounced dead at the scene. Benjamin Marsh, Donald Marsh and Danielle Marsh, all of Independence, sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The Kenton County Police Department's Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the crash.
