A Blythewood man was killed in a car crash Wednesday afternoon on Wilson Boulevard.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said William Allen McMahon was thrown from his vehicle after it was hit behind and pushed into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
McMahon was taken to the hospital where he died about an hour after the crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
