Corinth, MS : No one injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 45 on Tuesday evening September 23rd 2014

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is still investigating a two-vehicle crash on Highway 45 on Tuesday evening that involved a deputy with the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department. Troopers responded to the scene near the intersection with County Road 408 around 6:30 p.m. It appears the deputy was on patrol and traveling north on U.S. Highway 45 in a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria patrol car. The deputy was rear-ended by a 2006 Nissan Altima. Both vehicles received heavy damage but neither driver was injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
