FORT ANN, NY : Woman seriously hurt in Fort Ann crash on Sunday, September 24th 2017
A Vermont woman was seriously hurt Sunday night when she drove off Route 4 and hit a utility pole, police said.
Christine M. Sadler, 35, of Castleton, Vermont, had to be extricated from the Honda Civic she was driving after the 8:44 p.m. crash off the northbound side of the highway, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
Sadler was taken by helicopter to Albany Medical Center, but her condition was not available Monday morning.
Police did not say if they know what caused her to lose control of the vehicle.
West Fort Ann and Fort Ann firefighters and Fort Ann EMS assisted at the scene. Sheriff's deputies Paul Trottier and John LaTour are investigating.
