PICKENS COUNTY, AL : 1 dead after vehicle crash in Pickens County on Sunday, 13th October 2024

One man has died after his car overturned and went off the road.

Authorities say 61-year-old Ricky D. Rice, of Aliceville, was killed when his vehicle crashed on Franconia Road about two miles south of Carrolton City limit in Pickens County. Rice was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to ALEA.

ALEA says no other vehicles were involved in the accident. At this time, troopers are still investigating what caused the crash.
