Mims, FL : Tow truck hauls off a tractor-trailer that crashed on State Road 46 spilling approximately 75 gallons of diesel fuel on Friday September 26th 2014

One lane has reopened on State Road 46 after a tractor-trailer crash in Brevard County. Around 2:20 a.m. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the 51-year-old driver from DeLand was eastbound on SR-46 when he fell asleep approaching the Interstate 95 overpass. The semi struck two construction barrels, a crash attenuator and a concrete wall, spilling approximately 75 gallons of diesel fuel onto the eastbound and westbound lanes, troopers said. The Interstate 95 entrance and exit ramps are not being affected. The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
