Sterling, VA : 13-year-old Sterling girl dies in ATV crash on Robinson Loop near Higher Ground Street on Monday, 10th June 2019

A 13-year-old girl died Monday in Sterling on the Kenai Peninsula when she lost control of the ATV she was riding and crashed, Alaska State Troopers said.

Troopers pronounced Tori Verba deAad at the scene on Robinson Loop near Higher Ground Street around 5:43 p.m., according to an online dispatch. Verba was wearing a helmet, troopers said.

Troopers were investigating the cause of the crash, according to the dispatch.
