Monessen, PA : Pittsburgh man killed in a motorcycle crash in Henry Clay Township on Saturday, November 5, 2016

A Pittsburgh man died Saturday after a Friday motorcycle crash in Henry Clay Township, Fayette County, according to state police in Uniontown.

Christopher Swickline, 56, lost control of his motorcycle at 1:37 p.m. while trying to make a left turn on Big Bend Road, which is covered with gravel, according to police.

He was thrown from his motorcycle and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He was flown by helicopter to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, where he died at about 4 p.m. the next day, police said.
