TOWN OF JANESVILLE, WI : Milton man dies after crashing into tree in Town of Janesville on Sunday, 19th May 2024

A man is dead after crashing into a tree in the Town of Janesville, Rock County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday evening.

Just after 6:30 p.m., RCSO responded to a report of a single vehicle crash with serious injuries to the driver at the intersection of North Britt Road and West Fenrick Road, authorities said.

The driver, a 60-year-old Milton man, was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died, officials said. No other people were in the vehicle.

Investigators found that the vehicle was traveling north on Britt Road approaching the intersection of Fenrick Road. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, went into a ditch and collided with a tree.
