BROOKFIELD, OH : Three injured in Brookfield crash on Friday, 19th October 2018

Three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries after a crash Friday morning, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. when a car containing five people veered off Collar Price Road. The car hit an embankment, a fire hydrant and a tree before it caught fire, the patrol report states.

The fire also caught the woods on fire, but was put out by firefighters. Three people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The patrol said alcohol was a factor in the crash. The names of the people who were involved in the crash have not been released yet.
