Cle Elum, WA : One person killed in a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 90, North Bend and Cle Elum on Sunday, July 10, 2016

One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash that forced the closure of eastbound Interstate 90 between North Bend and Cle Elum for several hours on Sunday, a Washington State Patrol spokesman said on Twitter.

The highway was closed completely from 1 to 3 p.m., when the right lane was opened. The crash occurred about 6 miles west of Cle Elum.

All lanes were reopened by 5 p.m. but delays due to backed up traffic continued into the evening.

The identity of the victim had not been released as of Sunday evening. The accident also involved other serious injuries, the spokesman said.
