Lebanon, TN : Tanker truck crash closes I-40 in Wilson County on Wednesday, December 3, 2014

Interstate 40 East in Lebanon has reopened early Wednesday evening after being closed most of the day after a tanker truck overturned and spilled fuel all over the roadway. The accident involving an Usher Transport Inc. truck happened near the State Route 840 exit at mile marker 232 around 6:45 a.m., closing the road until close to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Officials said the driver possibly suffered a medical emergency prior to the accident. The driver was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
