Twin Falls, ID : Man injured in a Two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, March 19, 2017
A Twin Falls man was injured early Sunday morning when his SUV collided with a semi-truck.
The Idaho State said Michael Jenkins, 20, of Twin Falls was driving northbound in a Chevrolet Blazer at about 1:15 a.m. when he failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of N 3800 E and State Highway 50, police say. The vehicle collided with a Freightliner hauling two commercial trailers, driven by Danny Day, 54, of Burley, who was headed westbound on State Highway 50.
Jenkins was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls. His condition was unavailable Sunday afternoon.
The Idaho State Police suspect alcohol is involved in the crash, and are continuing to investigate.
