TUCSON, AZ : Two people killed in car crash at Speedway near Craycroft on Monday, 24th July 2023

Tucson Police have provided additional information on Monday's deadly crash on Speedway.

According to the traffic investigation, a Mercedes-Benz traveling westbound on Speedway faster than the 35 mph speed limit hit a Toyota Yaris. The Yaris was turning left from the eastbound lanes, north onto Jefferson Avenue.

Police say both people in the Yaris were killed in the crash—39-year-old driver Kimberly Roxanne Layne and her passenger, 40-year-old Douglas Keith Bland Jr.
