Council Bluffs,IA : 1 person injured in crash at 14th and I-480; pursuit began in Bluffs on September, Thursday 28th 2017

One person was injured early Thursday when a vehicle crashed in downtown Omaha after a police pursuit that began in Iowa.

The crash occurred sometime before 2:30 a.m. at 14th Street and Interstate 480, according to Douglas County 911 dispatchers.

The injured person was taken to Creighton University Medical Center-Bergan Mercy with injuries that were considered serious.

The pursuit began in Council Bluffs, probably before 2:30 a.m., at North 16th Street and Avenue G, possibly after an attempted traffic stop, Pottawattamie County 911 dispatchers said.
