Monessen,PA : 21-year-old killed in Washington County crash on January, Sunday 7th 2018

A 21-year-old man died in a car crash early Sunday in Washington County, according to a county news release.

Ralph David Moore was driving North on Chestnut Ridge Road, a quarter mile south of State Route 40 in Amwell, just before 3 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle, the release said. His vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree before catching fire.

Moore was the only occupant of the vehicle.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

An official cause death has not been determined.
